Bianca Ryan : Born To Sing

America's Got Talent
In 2006, Bianca auditioned for a brand-new TV talent show called America's Got Talent. The 11-year-old won the contest, the $1 million prize and a contract with Sony Records. The performance of her first song immediately became one of YouTube's most-watched videos. And people from around the world began praising her. Praise even came from American idol's normally grumpy judge, Simon Cowell. "Bianca Ryan is [possibly] one of the best singers I have ever heard," he said.

Since winning the contest, Bianca's life has changed dramatically. Her first CD, Bianca Ryan debuted in November 2006. Since then, she has made TV appearances, gone on American and European tours and performed at Disneyworld. Once when asked about advice for other kids, Bianca said, "You have to ... believe in yourself. Get your parents to help you pursue your dream. [Because] if you can see it, you can reach it." Bianca sets a great example of what can happen when people reach for their dreams!

Fast facts about Bianca Ryan
Bianca is 3/4 Irish and 1/4 Japanese.
When Bianca was three she began dancing.
Bianca loves staying up late at night baking cookies, watching TV and friends over. By April 2007, a video copy of Ryan's audition, a performance of the song AND I'M TELLING YOU I'M NOT GOING, climbed into the 100 "Top Rated in Music" videos on YouTube.
